It is our belief that interior spaces should feel timeless and beautiful, eschewing the trendy and fashionable as much as possible. We deliver interiors that truly relate to the owners, their lifestyle, and their personal tastes. The spaces of a home should tell the story at the intersection of the owners and the location. For example, if a house is on a marsh or by the sea, we will often pull in colors and elements inspired by that environment. Good interior design should be commodious, functional, and have something about them which offers delight – this is the guiding principle behind our approach.
ServicesLandscape Architecture
Our process and approach for Landscape Architecture, begins by thinking of a site as a series of “rooms” or outdoor spaces. These spaces might be expansive for recreation, or more intimate for relaxation and reflection. Being able to expand the living space of a home into the garden and engage nature is the mark of good landscape architecture. The idea is to create outdoor spaces that are integral to the design of the house itself with respect to views, function, and theme. For example, plant materials might create a more formalistic Southern Garden or be more organically positioned to create a more natural landscape, while hardscapes help to define outdoor spaces and extend the “floors and rooms” of the house interior.
