Our founder, Steve Goggans, is an architect based in the South Carolina Lowcountry with more than 4 decades of design experience. While he has invested much of his career in all manner of projects ranging from large to small, and public to private, he has divested himself of the larger practice to focus on residential architecture, and, occasionally, other projects of interest and distinction.

He is joined by a talented team of Associates who share Steve’s passion for residential architecture and who represent the vision and disciplines required for Goggans Architecture’s holistic and timeless approach.

Steve and his team believe that the home is more than simply shelter, however comfortable. Rather, the home should reflect the personalities and lifestyles of the people who live there and the environment in which the home inhabits. Nowhere is this trend better showcased than in the extraordinary work of Goggans Architecture.
